Présentation de votre entrepriseÖGUT - Österreichische Gesellschaft für Umwelt und Technik (Austrian Society for Environment and Technology) (AT) The Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT) is a non profit member organization that is formed as a scientific platform for environment, economy and administration. It was founded in 1985 with the goal to bridge the gap between economy and ecology. Due to the membership of about 80 organizations from private industry, public authorities, interest groups, environmental organizations and individuals, ÖGUT has the best preconditions for networking, preparation and providing of competent information and innovative solutions in order to initiate challenges in the environmental field. The main topics ÖGUT deals with are technological solution, innovation and conflict management in the field of "Environment and Technology". ÖGUT has carried out several National Awards of Austria in the Area of energy and environmental technology and develops an Austria database for Best-Practice, including demonstration projects and technologies. ÖGUT has a permanent staff of 25 employees (20 scientists). Besides scientific expertise - where one of the main emphases is laid on energy and environmental technologies with a focus on sustainable buildings, ÖGUT has a designated expertise in project and management of R&D programs. Présentation de vous mêmeDr. Herbert Greisberger is Secretary General of ÖGUT and a senior expert in the field of energy and technology. He has more than 15 years of experience as manager of R&D programs, with special focus on sustainable buildings (RTD Program "low-energy buildings, 1983-1998, building of tomorrow, 1999 - 2007; Building of Tomorrow PLUS (since 2008)) and project manager on European and national level (ERABUILD, SENSER...). He is member of cabinet of the experts group "long term RTD priority setting and evaluation" of the International Energy Agency/CERT.He acts as a senior manager of Dissemination Programs (e.g. Klima:aktiv - buildings) as well as research projects at national and European level with a special focus on energy, buildings and sustainablility. He is responsible for research area "quality of life and sustainable construction" in the Austrian Construction Technology Platform. Mr. Greisberger worked for the Austrian Energy Agency from 1992 to 2000 and moved to ÖGUT afterwards. He is been a member of the core team of the ERA-net in buildings "ERACOBUILD". As he is member in several international networks and working groups Mr. Greisberger has long term experiences in networking and managing international projects.
