Healthpia's product is ‘the mobile healthcare solution'. The diabetes phone (cell phone) and ‘mobile diabetes management system (MDMS)' were introduced to market in 2004. And also ‘stress zero phone' and ‘diet phone' were shown by Healthpia. We believe in that the cell phone is the best tool for ubiquitous healthcare. Because the cell phone is the personal device, always power on, and carrying any time. If we can sense the vital signals, healthcare center can monitor the patient through the mobile network. We have many trials of the MDMS, in which the glucose level went down about average 30% and especially parents or caregivers of juvenile diabetes have full satisfaction for real time monitoring the patient's glucose level.

I am CEO of Healthpia. My major is material science and engineering.

I founded the Genitech in 1996, which was a semiconductor company and was acquired to ASM Int'l. I have worked for ETRI (Electronics & Telecommunication Research Institute) as a principal member of researcher before Genitech.

I got Ph.D. from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in 1987. Now I am focusing on developing the sensors and mobile healthcare device and solution.
